First hatchlings!

Exciting news!!

Over the past three days we have seen signs of the baby turtles starting to emerge from their nests. These hatchlings have been incubating for approximately 70 days. Our first Sampled Nest was due to hatch on 24 January but was inundated by the storm surges we had due to the cyclone, but it is a relief to see that some nests have survived!
