New Turtles meet with esri Australia in Perth

On Monday 13 October Mel and Andy were fortunate enough to meet with Tanya Fleay and Tom Gardner from esri Australia at their offices in Perth, Western Australia. Tanya and Tom have played a great role assisting the Gnaraloo Turtle Conservation Program (GTCP) this year with GIS solutions and support. This meeting was a chance to strengthen ties with esri and discuss data capture and storage possibilities for future seasons. Mel and Andy were impressed by the great mobile and desktop product demonstrations and will look to incorporate these into future seasons.

It was a great opportunity to meet industry leaders who have been so generous with their time supporting the GTCP. We would like to thank Tom and Tanya for their time and hope they can make it up to the station for the upcoming GTCP season 2014/15. We look forward to presenting as esri again at the end of the turtle survey season.
