The night sky is the world’s oldest natural heritage and our ability to see it is slowly disappearing

Rapid development and urbanization have stopped many of us from seeing much of our night skies due to light pollution. At Gnaraloo we aim to establish it as a dark sky reserve and protect the dark sky through responsible lighting.
If you have a love of the stars and wish to continue seeing the milky way, planets and otherworldly sights, then visit Gnaraloo and help support the Gnaraloo Wilderness Foundation.

Increasing light pollution can create drastic effects for most animals. Affecting their feeding, reproduction behaviour, migration and social behaviour.
